Cajuns Lose Contest, 3-2
The Hicksville Hounds and Crowley Cajuns played an entertaining game for Hound Pound patrons.

The Hicksville Hounds eked out a 3-2 win versus the Crowley Cajuns at Hound Pound. Nobody did more than pitcher David Ramos. He was terrific. Hicksville now sits at 28-13, while Crowley falls to 12-29.

Hicksville took a 3-2 lead on Bill Haggans's 2nd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Haggans hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Crowley pitcher Mike Butler shaking his head.

Said losing manager Bill Wallace: "We've got to find a way to push a run across."
