Beavers Topple Toros, 19-8, as Suzuki Shines
The Northwest Territory Beavers defeated the Tijuana Toros, 19-8, at Toros Ballpark. Northwest Territory first baseman Kyushichi Suzuki had a superb performance. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Northwest Territory pitcher Aatos Niemikorpi got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Charles Reeves got the loss. Tijuana is in the throes of a losing streak which has reached 12 games.

Dane Luck had a productive at-bat in the top of the fourth inning. With runners on 1st and 3rd, the Northwest Territory pinch hitter hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 9-8, Beavers, and led to the win.
