Hicksville Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Hicksville Hounds scooped up a win at Hound Pound, dumping the Fort Knox Centennial, 4-0. Zander Daig, who is tied for 2nd in the PA- with a 10.2 K/9 rate, was essential to his team's success. Hicksville is 4th in the Premier Low A with a record of 24-21.
Hicksville got a clutch hit from Jing-sheng Siu. The first baseman jolted a grand slam home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Siu said in his postgame press conference.
