Flanderses Lose Again, 1-0, to Centennial
The Fort Knox Centennial claimed a close win over the Hudsonville Flanderses, due in large part to Juan Castillo. The Fort Knox left-hander pitched a great game to secure the 1-0 win. Castillo, now 4-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing no runs. Fort Knox's record now stands at 28-19, placing them 4th in the Premier Low A.

A critical at-bat came in the bottom of the seventh inning when the Centennial sent 21-year-old shortstop Alfredo Barrera to the plate with runners on 1st and 3rd. The youngster shook off the pressure and hit a run-scoring single, to put Fort Knox on top, 1-0.

"We found a way to win tonight," Castillo said.
