Slumping Toros Lose Again
The losses keep piling up for the Tijuana Toros.

The Uruguayans faced a stiff challenge from Tijuana pitcher Dong-joo Im, but persevered to claim a win at Ballpark of Albuquerque. The final score was 1-0. Im went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Now 14-33, Tijuana has lost 17 in a row.

The Toros had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Uruguayans going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old center fielder Tim Hutchinson came to the plate. Hutchinson hit a solo home run on a 2-1 fastball from Tijuana hurler Dong-joo Im. It was Hutchinson's 1st home run of the year.

"Losing makes me cranky," said Tijuana manager . "And right now there's a big black storm cloud above my head."
