The Redwood Rhinos got a good effort from starter Clint Ellis in defeating the Fort Knox Centennial at Ballpark of Baxter. The final score was 5-2. At 27-20, the Rhinos are currently second in the Premier Low A.

Redwood used the clutch hitting of Kevin Reed to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Rhinos the lead, 4-2. For the game, Reed had 1 single and 1 double in 3 at-bats.

"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Ellis. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
