The Beavers faced a stiff challenge from Tulsa pitcher Peter Harris, but persevered to claim a win at Beaver Town. The final score was 1-0. Harris went 8 innings and allowed no runs. The win belonged to Greg Thomas in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Dudley Farrell took the loss for Tulsa.

Northwest Territory got a knockout punch from Kelsey Verbiest. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Verbiest said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
