Gálvez Hits Two Dingers, Cajuns Win, 13-5
Titans Ballpark was the site for USPL Low A action featuring the Redwood Rhinos and Crowley Cajuns.

Crowley defeated Redwood, 13-5, in large part due to 19-year old catcher Gregory Gálvez. Gálvez drove in 6 runs. The designated hitter had 1 double and 2 home runs for the Cajuns. Wilfred Pope picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Clint Ellis suffered the loss.

Crowley got a lift in the bottom of the fourth from shortstop Jyotibhasin Chittoor, who hit a curveball to right for a bases-clearing double. His 3rd double of the season put the Cajuns up, 5-3.

"It was our day today," Chittoor told the Crowley Bulletin. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."

The Cajuns saw their record improve to 28-20.
