Hicksville center fielder Preston Wilson was a significant contributor in his team's 7-5 triumph over the Fort Knox Centennial. He was 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk for the Hounds. Finlay Midwinter got credit for the win, improving to 7-2. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits in 8 innings. With the win, Hicksville goes to 29-19, while the Centennial fall to 30-18.

The Hounds got an important contribution from right fielder Mike Hancock, who in the bottom of the seventh punched a first pitch sinker to center for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Hounds ahead, 7-0.
