The Germantown Uruguayans could not turn a fine performance from shortstop Scott Creswell into a win. Instead, the Hicksville Hounds prevailed, 5-4. Creswell was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Hicksville has an impressive 34-15 record.

The Hounds got a clutch hit from catcher Alfonso Martínez. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hounds.
