Gross Swings Cajuns to 13-5 Win
The Crowley Cajuns beat the Memphis Music, 13-5, at Titans Ballpark. Al Gross, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2060 draft, starred for Crowley. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 4 and driving in 4. Carl Gray notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-1. The triumph makes Crowley 16-33.

Gross contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Crowley in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Gross took a fastball from Giel van der Zande and stroked the home run to left. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Cajuns to leap in front, 2-1.
