The Fort Knox Centennial stymied the Germantown Uruguayans, 4-2, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Alonso Murillo had a good day at the plate. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 for Fort Knox. Fort Knox's record now stands at 26-24, placing them 5th in the Premier Low A.

In the top of the fifth inning, the Centennial grabbed the lead when Alvin Gardner rapped a two-out home run. Fort Knox was trailing 2-1, when Gardner hit a 2-run home run off Jason Lewis to put his team in front, 3-2.

"It was a good effort all around," said Murillo.
