The Memphis Music and Crowley Cajuns squared off at Titans Ballpark.

Juan Sandoval never let Crowley get something going. The Memphis right-hander commanded his slider in pitching the Music to a 4-1 win. Yuri Werkman earned his 8th save, after closing out the game.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Paul Davis? The 19-year old third baseman Davis stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put Memphis up, 2-0. For the game, he was 4 for 5, including 1 double and 3 singles.

"Feels good to get the job done," Davis said after the game.

Memphis is now 22-28, Crowley 16-34.
