The Pittsburgh Kingfishers topped the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 2-1, in United States Silver League action at Wolf Den in Vancouver. The standout performance belonged to Pittsburgh designated hitter and Issaquah, Washington, native David White. Pittsburgh has now won 3 straight, while the Grey Wolves have lost 3 in a row.
Dave Hennessey, who won the Newcomer of the Year Award in 2061, had a direct impact on the outcome. Hennessey contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Pittsburgh up, 2-0.
