Juan Castillo was nothing short of phenomenal for the Fort Knox Centennial. The 20-year-old left-hander was a big reason his team beat the Hicksville Hounds, 4-1. The winner was Castillo. He threw 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Jeff LaPierre. Adam Weijman closed the game out for Fort Knox, earning his 12th save.

Curtis Thomas, who is tied for 8th in the PA- in RBI with 27, had a direct impact on the outcome. Thomas contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Fort Knox up, 2-1.

"I put my work in and trusted the process," said Castillo.

With the victory, the Centennial record stands at 31-21.
