Tulsa had no answer for 20-year old right-handed pitcher Patrick Ricks. The Amarillo Warheads starter stymied Otters hitters, helping the Warheads cruise to victory, 10-0. Patrick Ricks picked up the win in relief for Amarillo, while Kip Hill took the loss. Amarillo has won 6 consecutive games.
In the top of the first inning, center fielder Art Vandelay had a run-scoring double for Amarillo. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Warheads on top, 1-0.
