A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Fort Knox Centennial and Hicksville Hounds.

In a low-scoring affair between the Fort Knox Centennial and the Hicksville Hounds, pitcher George Young was the difference between victory and defeat. The Fort Knox left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-0 Centennial win. Adam Weijman picked up the save for Fort Knox, his 13th of the year.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Curtis Thomas? The Fort Knox third baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Centennial on top, 2-0. For the game, Thomas had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
