The Montana Pandas picked up a win at Panda Park, topping the Panama City Piranhas, 6-5. On the mound for Montana was right-hander J.R. Snow. He played a principal role in the triumph. Reliever Pablo Gonzáles picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Neil Smith took the loss. The victory makes Montana 6-22.

Montana got a knockout punch from Greg Reese. The designated hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Panama City manager Brian Talamante. "The effort was great."
