Amarillo parlayed a decent outing from starter Francis Owens into a solid win over the Redwood Rhinos. The final score was 8-2. The third-place Warheads have won 5 in a row.

Amarillo used a clutch at-bat from Peter Bailey to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Warheads ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
