The Hicksville Hounds defeated the Redwood Rhinos, 4-1, in USPL Low A action at The Zoo. Hicksville pitcher Gary Aldridge had a standout performance. David Cole recorded his 13th save for Hicksville. The 6th-place Rhinos now sit at 27-27.

Aldridge dominated for Hicksville, raising his record to 6-3. Redwood hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 7.
