The Northwest Territory Beavers got a strong performance from pitcher Jay Keirl, who stymied the Germantown offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. With the win, Northwest Territory goes to 36-18, while the Uruguayans fall to 26-28.

Northwest Territory used a timely hit from Kyushichi Suzuki to get the win. The first baseman delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Beavers on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Said losing manager Jamie Scott: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
