Otters Top Warheads in Extras, 6-4
|
The Amarillo Warheads could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Lan-quing Xin into a win. Instead, the Tulsa Otters prevailed, 6-4, in 11 innings. Xin threw 6.1 innings allowing 3 runs. With the victory, the Otters upped their record to 34-20.
Tulsa got a clutch hit from Steve Harris. The designated hitter jolted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a big one.
In postgame remarks, Harris simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
