Jim Everhart, who leads the PL in complete games with 1, was locked in. The right-hander led the Boston Patriots to a 5-1 win against the Toledo Stingers at Dunkin Donuts Park. Boston is off to a hot start at 10-4.

Boston took the lead, 4-1, on Bill Castro's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Toledo pitcher Dave Hanna in the bottom of the seventh.

"We have a lot of confidence in Jim," said Boston manager Brian Fahie.
