In a low-scoring clash between Hicksville and Ogallala, pitcher Ángel Chávez was a difference-maker. The left-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 win. The winner was Jorge Guillén in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Ryan Lawson took the loss. Hicksville is 7th in the Premier Low A with a record of 25-31.

The Hounds relied on left fielder Dave Díaz for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Hounds," said Díaz.
