The performance of Mitsuoki Kawashima proved critical in helping Germantown beat Tulsa, 7-4. The Uruguayans center fielder was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Germantown pitcher Zane Wiggins got the win. He's now 3-6. Boudewijn Vervoort was tagged with the loss. Ron Lee got credit for the save for Germantown. It was his 12th of the year.

Germantown grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Kawashima hit a 3-run home run off Boudewijn Vervoort. His 4th home run of the season put the Uruguayans out in front, 4-1.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Kawashima.

Germantown, at 29-29, sits in 7th place in the Premier Low A.
