Flanderses Rally to Nose Past Northwest Territory
|
Hudsonville turned a good performance from starting pitcher Bob Scott into a 3-2 triumph over the Northwest Territory Beavers at Beaver Town. The 8th-place Flanderses go to 21-37.
Tom Francis, who is rated as the 7th best prospect by BNN, had a direct impact on the outcome. Francis contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Hudsonville up, 3-2.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Scott.
