The Tijuana Toros beat the Crowley Cajuns, 7-0. Tijuana pitcher and Seoul, South Korea, native Dong-joo Im led the way. Im picked up the win for Tijuana, going 8.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-7. The victory makes Tijuana 17-42.

The Cajuns had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Toros going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 20-year old catcher Bryce Green came to the plate. Green hit a run-scoring double on a first pitch fastball from Crowley hurler Jesse Blanton. It was Green's 11th double of the year.

In postgame comments to the Tijuana Gazette, Green said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
