Warheads Pull Out Late Win, 5-4
The Amarillo Warheads opened their 2061 season with an extra-inning triumph over the Beaumont Crossbeaus at Ballpark of Henderson. The final score was 5-4. Amarillo right fielder Roberto Duarte had a big game. He slugged 3 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 4.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the 15th. With Amarillo trailing 4-3, Duarte jumped on a fastball from 18-year old left-handed pitcher Mario García and hit a 2-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Warheads had a walk-off win.
