Fowler on the Attack, Player of the Week

The Player of the Week has been chosen by the USSL Low A. The award went to Shannon Fowler, center fielder of the Philadelphia Liberty U-21.
In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .609 average to win the honor. Fowler went 14-for-23 for the week, totaled 3 home runs and 9 RBIs and scored 6 times.

Shady Side Loses Hsu for Year

When Gah-fat Hsu was hurt against the Amarillo Warheads, the Shady Side Zoomies were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 21-year-old reliever suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Hsu would miss 13-14 months of the season.
