Hartsfield Paces Octopi to 2-0 Win
|
The Ogallala Octopi claimed a close win over the Amarillo Warheads, due in large part to Rick Hartsfield. The Ogallala right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-0 win. Brenden Pilgrim closed out the game, earning his 4th save. The loss makes Amarillo 38-24.
Hartsfield scattered 4 hits over 8 innings for the Octopi. With the win, Hartsfield goes to 4-2 on the year with 74 strikeouts.
"Every time I step on the mound, I want to go out there and compete and bring my best game," said Hartsfield.
