Watson Leads Hounds to Win
The Hicksville Hounds cut down the Crowley Cajuns by the score of 8-4, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Carl Watson. Watson went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Hounds. The Hounds, at 36-26, have now won 4 straight.

Hicksville used the timely hitting of Pat López to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Hounds on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Watson told the Hicksville Today.
