The Ogallala Octopi satisfied the home crowd at Nebraska Aquarium, treating them to a season-opening win, 5-1, over the Ladue Rams. Starting Pitcher Wes Crowe was the standout performer for Ogallala. Crowe, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 11, walking 1, and allowing 1 run.
