The Surprise Shockers opened their 2062 season with a disappointing 7-5 loss to the Philadelphia Liberty U-21 at Shockers Field. Left Fielder Jim Klein was a big part of the win for Philadelphia. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Robbie de Groot nailed down his 1st save.

Early in the game, Klein had a 2-run home run for Philadelphia. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Liberty U-21 on top, 3-1.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Klein.
