The Northwest Territory Beavers beat the Tulsa Otters, 8-5, at Beaver Town. Jorge Valdéz, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Darryl Brady picked up the save for Northwest Territory, his 19th of the year. The Beavers have an impressive 41-23 record.

The Beavers got a big hit from right fielder John Wallace. In the bottom of the sixth, Wallace smacked a 3-run home run off Tulsa pitcher Marcos Rodríguez. It was his 6th home run of the season. Suddenly, the Beavers were ahead, 4-3.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Valdéz.
