Memphis turned a good performance from starting pitcher Giel van der Zande into a 3-2 triumph over the Crowley Cajuns at The Stage in Memphis. van der Zande picked up the win for Memphis, going 5.1 innings. The Music got a big hit from left fielder Gerald Cooper. Facing Crowley pitcher Augusto Gómez in the bottom of the fifth, Cooper pounded a 2-run triple to right-center. His 2nd triple of the season put the Music ahead, 2-0.
