López Delivers Walk-Off Win for Hounds
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Hicksville Hounds and the Tulsa Otters, Shawn Brennan, who is tied for 7th in the PA- in innings pitched with 91.2, proved to be the difference. The Hicksville right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Hounds win. The Hounds saw their record improve to 38-28.
Hicksville got a game-changing hit from Pat López. The catcher blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a winner.
"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Tulsa manager Bob Grzelak.
