Kicham Sassi never let Bethlehem get something going. The Amarillo left-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Warheads to a 5-0 win. Sassi, now 5-2, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 7, walking 4, and allowing no runs. Earning his 1st save of the year was Emílio Sosa.

Brandon Davis had a big solo home run for the Warheads in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Amarillo leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from Jeffrey Dixon, who is tied for 8th in the PA- in holds with 3, and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Warheads on top, 2-0.

"Kicham did what Kicham does," said Amarillo manager José López.

The victory gives the Warheads a record of 42-25.
