The Redwood Rhinos picked up a win at The Zoo, downing the Flint Crush, 3-2, in 10 innings. On the mound for Redwood was left-hander Gregory Barnett, who played a pivotal role in the win. Mark Sims snagged the win in relief. He goes to 5-3 on the season. Naia Pirini suffered the loss.

Kevin O'Rourke did his part for the Rhinos, producing a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the game, the first baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Barnett.

The 7th-place Rhinos hiked their record to 30-38.
