The Philadelphia Liberty U-21 took on the Tulsa Otters at Ballpark of Hughesville.

No one was more impactful than Fernando Castro in the 7-4 Philadelphia win over Tulsa. Castro, who is tied for 6th in the PA- in RBI with 37, went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2. Philadelphia reliever Hanihani Kiele picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Robert McQuhirr was saddled with the loss.

Philadelphia used the timely hitting of Kai Sheppard to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Liberty U-21 ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Fernando was ready to go. Big day for him," said Philadelphia manager Santiago Paez.

Philadelphia is now 38-30, Tulsa 35-33.
