Hudsonville and Tulsa got after it at Ballpark of Hughesville.

Hudsonville starter George Betchley ran into little resistance from Tulsa hitters, as his team cruised to victory, 10-2. The winner was Betchley. He threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Ian Barnes.

Hudsonville used a well-timed hit by Dave Scott to capture the win. The second baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Flanderses ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 6 at-bats, it was important.

"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Tulsa manager Bob Grzelak.

After today's action, Hudsonville sits at 39-29, while Tulsa falls to 28-40.
