Toros Take Nail-Biter Over Hounds
The Tijuana Toros found a way to sneak past the Hicksville Hounds, 4-3, in 11 innings. Tijuana pitcher Charles Reeves, for one, had a standout performance. The winner in relief was Yin-reng Guo. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 3-7. The triumph makes Tijuana 20-49.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and no one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when first baseman Jeff Godfrey, who is rated as the 27th best prospect by BNN, hit a run-scoring single. The Toros went on to win.
