Puffer Fish Get Hard-Earned Win
Plattsburgh got a first-rate effort from pitcher Jerry Creichton, who frustrated Hicksville hitters en route to a 1-0 Puffer Fish triumph at Plattsburgh Park. Plattsburgh is now 37-32, Hicksville 25-44.

The Puffer Fish got a clutch hit from shortstop Ted Hitchcock. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Puffer Fish.

"Jerry was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Plattsburgh manager Mike Carlisle.
