Edgardo Cuellar was locked in. The left-hander led the Ogallala Octopi to a 6-3 win against the Germantown Uruguayans at Nebraska Aquarium. Cuellar, the winner, moves to 2-9. He threw 8.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 11 and giving up no walks. The loss makes Germantown 34-36.

Esteban Colón took Germantown hurler Su-min Kim deep in the bottom of the eighth. His grand slam home run put the Octopi on top, 6-3. In all, Colón had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"It was a solid team effort," said Colón after the game.
