Behind a fine performance from Luis Antonio Rivas, the Crowley Cajuns knocked off the Ogallala Octopi, 4-3. Rivas was 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Cajuns. Crowley is now 49-21, 8 games up in the Premier Low A.

Crowley took a 4-2 lead on Rivas's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Carlos García in the top of the sixth, propelled Crowley to the win.

After the game, Crowley manager Neal Davis applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
