Germantown beat Hicksville on the strength of starting pitcher Jason Lewis's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-0. Ron Lee was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 14 of 16 save opportunities. The Uruguayans improved to 34-36.
Lewis allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings for the Uruguayans. He walked 1 and struck out 6.
