Beavers Win at Beaumont, 9-7
At The Target, the Beaumont Crossbeaus and Northwest Territory Beavers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Northwest Territory Beavers topped the Beaumont Crossbeaus by a score of 9-7. Leading the way was right fielder Kelsey Verbiest. Verbiest went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Beavers. The win was credited to Juan Martínez in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Gabriel Pérez took the loss.

In the top of the seventh, the Beavers grabbed the lead when Verbiest hit his 10th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Gabriel Pérez made it 7-3, Northwest Territory.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Verbiest told the Northwest Territory Chronicle.

With the win, Northwest Territory has a record of 40-30. Beaumont falls to 30-40.
