The Amarillo Warheads cut down the Hicksville Hounds by the score of 6-4 in 10 innings. Much of the credit went to left fielder Tenho Rautee. Rautee was 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Warheads. Amarillo has now won 3 in a row.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Amarillo trailing 4-3, Rautee jumped on a fastball from 18-year old right-handed pitcher Ricardo Gamera and hit a 3-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Warheads had a walk-off win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Rautee told the Amarillo Gazette.
