The Amarillo Warheads went down to defeat to Finlay Midwinter and his Hicksville teammates. The final score was 5-2, in favor of the Hounds. Ricardo Gamera wrapped it up, recording his 11th save. The third-place Hounds have won 7 in a row.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Mike White came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing Amarillo pitcher Andrew Shirley, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Hicksville on top, 3-2.

"I thought he pitched pretty well," said Hicksville manager Art Manning. "Finlay did his part."
