Pitcher William Byrne was sensational for the Hicksville Hounds in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Germantown Uruguayans. Byrne earned the win. The Hounds improved their record to 27-45 with the win over Germantown.

Hicksville took a 4-0 lead on Charles Beard's 14th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Beard hit in the top of the seventh, left Germantown pitcher Hunter Holman visibly frustrated.

"I know we have our doubters," said Germantown manager Jamie Scott. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
