Centennial Earn 5-2 Home Win

The Fort Knox Centennial beat the Hicksville Hounds, 5-2, at Ballpark of Baxter. Alonso Murillo, who is tied for 7th in the PA- in home runs with 10, starred for Fort Knox. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. Jody Ross earned the save for Fort Knox, his 17th of the year. Fort Knox sits in 4th place in the Premier Low A at 41-32.
In the bottom of the sixth, Fort Knox catcher Kyung-chor Sip gave his team the lead. With no one out and the bases loaded, The Mayor hit his 1st triple of the year. Hicksville pitcher Gerardo Montoya surrendered it. With that, the Centennial jumped in front, 4-2.
"Winning never gets dull," said Murillo.
