Uruguayans Get Hard-Earned Win
|
The Germantown Uruguayans locked up a win at Ballpark of Albuquerque, knocking off the Hudsonville Flanderses, 5-4. On the mound for Germantown was right-hander Edgar O'Curran. He played a major role in the triumph. The win went to Hunter Holman in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Neil Snow took the loss. With the win, Germantown raised its record to 37-36.
Germantown took the lead, 5-4, on Tim Hutchinson's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Hudsonville pitcher Neil Snow in the bottom of the eighth.
"Edgar made some big pitches when he needed to," said Uruguayans manager Jamie Scott.
