The Ogallala Octopi picked up a win at Nebraska Aquarium, dropping the Ladue Rams, 3-0. Pat Edmonds was the difference-maker. Dan Spears earned the save for Ogallala, his 1st. The loss drops Ladue to 0-2.

Tom Howard took Ladue hurler Ernesto Chávez deep in the bottom of the third. His solo home run put the Octopi on top, 1-0. In all, Howard had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
