Centennial Win 2-1 Walk-Off

Fort Knox took on Hicksville in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. George Young, in particular, was fantastic. The Fort Knox left-hander helped his team snag the win, 2-1. The winner was Fort Knox reliever Shigekazu Abe, now 4-1. The loser was Dan Bozovic. The 4th-place Centennial are now 42-33, the Hounds 28-47.
In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 1-1, 22-year old right fielder Pierre-Yves Robin won it for Fort Knox. With the bases loaded, Robin hit a 1-2 slider from Dan Bozovic for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 2-1 win.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Young said.
