The timely hitting of Eduardo Luján helped the Tulsa Otters down the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 8-3. Luján went 4-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 for the Otters. Tulsa is now 33-42, Beaumont 32-43.

The Otters got an important contribution from third baseman António Lópes, who in the bottom of the first punched a 2-1 cutter to left for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Otters ahead, 4-0.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Lópes after the game.
