Otters Earn 5-2 Win Against Cajuns
|
Tulsa Otters starter Helmer Carlsson pitched his team past the Crowley Cajuns, 5-2, in 10 innings. Bill Young picked up his 17th save of the season. The Otters now have a mark of 34-42.
Tulsa used a timely hit from Dwaine Louch to get the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Otters ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Carlsson said.
