Bompton Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish and Bompton Baby Lakers provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Bompton Baby Lakers earned a close win over the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, thanks in part to Chris Martin. The Bompton right-hander played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Kurt Morse snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Ben Lane suffered the loss.

Jeremy Hoover was the walk-off hero for Bompton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Baby Lakers third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"From the first pitch, Chris was ready to rock and roll," said Bompton manager Tyrone Poole.

The win takes Bompton to 1-2.
